Boundary-breaking artist Arooj Aftab, has struck a chord worldwide with her transcendent music.  In 2021, her track "Mohabbat" from the critically acclaimed album, Vulture Prince, clinched the GRAMMY for Best Global Music Performance.

A singer, composer and producer, her “spellbinding music defies easy categorisation” (The Guardian) and harmoniously fuses a wide array of genres, from jazz, to minimalism, to Pakistani semi-classical.

Aftab’s album Vulture Prince, showcases her velvety and hauntingly beautiful vocals and was described by Pitchfork as a "heartbreaking, exquisite document of the journey from grief to acceptance." The album’s award-winning title track “Mohabbat” was named as one the best songs of 2021 by Time and The New York Times.
