Due to ongoing restrictions in relation to the recent Omicron surge, external promoter TEG Dainty wishes to advise that Postmodern Jukebox’s ‘The Grand Reopening Tour’, originally set to take place on Thursday 10 March, is being rescheduled.

A message from Postmodern Jukebox: “To our Australia & New Zealand family, with Omicron cases surging and various restrictions still in place, we have had to make the difficult decision to reschedule our tour. We are working hard to lock in the new dates. While we're disappointed that we can't bring 'The Grand Reopening Tour' to you in February & March as planned, we're looking forward to a huge run of spectacular shows later in the year. As always, thank you for your patience and understanding.”

TEG Dainty and Postmodern Jukebox are working hard to secure new dates and ticket holders will be emailed with full details soon.

Postmodern Jukebox makes its grand return! The famed genre-twisting musical collective that puts pop music in a time-machine will bring The Grand Reopening Tour to stages across the country in March 2022, including this exclusive Wellington performance at the 2022 New Zealand Festival of the Arts.

This global pop-jazz phenomenon will be making the 20s roar again with the most sensational party since The Great Gatsby. The Grand Reopening Tour will see PMJ thrill audiences with unique renditions of modern music's biggest hits in the classic styles of bygone eras.

New York creator Scott Bradlee’s sassy vintage re-styling of hit records has made Postmodern Jukebox something of an internet sensation, with 1.6 billion views on YouTube and counting. Live, PMJ’s shows feature a tight and talented band of international jazz musicians and vocalists, cabaret aesthetic and good-time, old-school swing.

“Music has served such a valuable function of inspiring us and reminding us of our shared humanity throughout history, and there's simply no substitute for gathering together to experience such a powerful force live." — Scott Bradlee
