Open from Sat 14 Feb 2025 – Sun 14 Jun 2026.

Fluid Bodies is an immersive mixed-media installation combining science, art, and biotechnology to tell a climate change story.

In this show climate change artist CJ Crichton collaborates with innovators based in South-East Asia to represent the interconnectivity between the ocean and atmosphere — the fluid bodies responsible for dispersing and regulating heat around our planet, enabling all life on Earth to thrive.

Fluid Bodies encourages audiences to think in terms of our collective responsibility and ourselves as a global community, rather than one defined by the bounds of individual nations. It brings a message of hope and a call to action.

He puninga toi rumaki a Fluid Bodies nā te ringatoi, nā CJ Crichton, e whakamahi ana i te hangarau koiora nō te tonga-mā-uru o Āhia. Mā te rama, te whakairo, me te oro e whakaatu te hononga o te moana me te kōhauhau, arā, ngā tinana wai e kawe ana, e whakarite ana hoki i te mahana o tō tātou ao, e whakaū ana i te toiora i te whenua. He karere nā te kāinga, ā, he karanga hoki kia mau ki te hoe.
