Double-GRAMMY Award-winning vocal ensemble The King’s Singers return to the Festival following standout performances in 2024 and 2018.

For over half a century, they have represented the gold standard in a cappella singing. Renowned for their unique approach to “close harmony”, they seamlessly weave their voices across centuries and styles.

Spanning Renaissance sacred music and English folksong to jazz standards and pop classics, this programme journeys through their history. From Byrd to Billy Joel, madrigals to The Beach Boys, Disney classics, contemporary works, plus two songs specially selected for Wellington.

Significantly, this concert is one of the last in Aotearoa for baritone Chris Bruerton, a proud New Zealander and key member of the group for over ten years.

Whether you’ve followed them for decades or are hearing them for the first time, Close Harmony at Wellington Cathedral promises an unforgettable night.
