Tipurepure Au Va’ine

Open from Sat 6 Dec 2025 – Sun 8 Mar 2026.

This exhibition will feature both existing and new tīvaevae made by Tīpurepure, which will change over the course of the exhibition as tīpurepure members complete new works to add to the collection. The gallery will also double as making space, with members of Tīpurepure Au Va’ine taking up residence at Pātaka, looking closely at historical examples of tīvaevae held in public collections, making, laughing and sharing in a celebration of tīvaevae as a living, breathing art form.
