We are sorry to share the news that due to unforeseen circumstances Bill Manhire is no longer able to participate in the Aotearoa New Zealand Festival of the Arts, and his event has been cancelled.
We are, however, pleased to announce a special closing event with acclaimed poet Jenny Bornholdt, which will take place at the same time and venue as Bill Manhire: Lyrical Ballads at Sunday 8 March, 4pm. In this event, Jenny will be joined in conversation by Damien Wilkins as she reflects on her remarkable career as a writer, including the creation of her latest collection, What to Wear – a stunning, potent, and vital work that illuminates the magic of daily life.
Bill Manhire's collection Lyrical Ballads and Jenny Bornholdt's What to Wear will both be available for purchase at Unity Books stall at the Tāwhiri Warehouse throughout the Writers weekend (7&8 March).
iTICKET will be in touch with all ticketholders directly to arrange refunds or the transfer of tickets to another Writers event within the Festival programme. We thank you for your understanding and apologise for any inconvenience caused.
What to Wear: Jenny Bornholdt has replaced the timeslot on Sun 8 Mar, 4pm in lieu of Bill Manhire: Lyrical Ballads. More information and ticket booking available here.
